MUGEN Tutorial: Balncing Characters

Hey everyone! Friendly Neighborhood OroCrimson here!

As I mentioned, a MUGEN tutorial had been requested of me, and now it is complete. When it is ready, I'll edit this post to put the video(s) here.

BONUS: Change a character's Portrait sprite.

Also, Download Fighter Factory Classic Here!

However, there's some coding involved, so I've provided you with a copyable solution.

[Statedef -3]

[State -3, mugenchikara!]
type = poweradd
trigger1 = 1
value = 3

[State -3, mugenchikara!]
type = lifeadd
trigger1 = !(gametime%60)
value = 10

The text above is the code for regenerating health and power. Put it above your statedefs.

A couple of things to look at on the codes.
"value = 10" 10 HP is gained each time the trigger is activated. Normal HP values are 1000, so this is about 1%. Change as you wish.

"trigger1 = 1" The effect is always happening non-stop.

"trigger1 = !(gametime%60)" The effect is happening every time 60 "ticks" have passed.
60 ticks = 1 second.
In other words, in the above code, the character receives 10 HP once every second. Change as you wish.
And that's about it for today.

Let's Plays Coming Up!

Hey everyone! Friendly Neighborhood OroCrimson here.

You know something? I recently cleaned out my registry, and now my computer's running at reasonable speeds again. This means I'll probably be getting back into the Let's Play business real soon.

In fact, I already have two Let's Plays planned.

It's like Red, but new!

First off, I plan on doing a Let's Play of Pokemon FireRed for the Game Boy Advance. I'm no pro at the game, so don't expect me to be all EV OCD. I'll be having IkeRetsam as a guest in many of these videos, and we'll kick back having a grand ol' time as we realize how ridiculous this game is.

The game franchise with no limits, now unlimited!

I have a 3DS. I used to have Scribblenauts. I DO have Super Scribblenauts. When I first heard about Scribblenauts Unlimited, I really wasn't all too sold on it.
First of all, the novelty of the first two Scribblenauts games kinda wore off on you as the game got more repetitive, and while you could create almost anything you wanted, the customization still seemed lackluster when you considered the small linear environments and the fact that you had to use THEIR interpretation of what you wanted. Furthermore, I didn't know how much they could improve from Super Scribblenauts.
However, after seeing a few videos of how Scribblenauts Unlimited was, I got it pretty quickly. Adding a nice expansive world was a good touch, and the HD and keyboard access was also nice. Best of all is the object creator, giving deeper customization to the game-- making it truly "unlimited." However, since I have the PC version and not the Wii U version, unfortunately Nintendo characters won't be present.
Being able to spawn anything just to solve a few simple puzzles is a great set-up for comedic GOLD, and I hope to do a good fun Let's Play of this game with Kunati as a special guest.

Oh My God Bricks Were Dropped.

I've also started playing the infamous Legend of Dragoon for the Playstation. However, I'll probably won't be Let's Playing till I either beat it or unless I get a guide. Also, I'll probably suck at it. I've done OK so far, but I've heard of this game's difficulty. If all else fails, I MIGHT have to use cheats. Hopefully not though, and I'll try it fairly first.
(Don't judge me, I'm a poor gamer x.x)

Those are some of the games I have planned for you guys. When February comes around and I no longer have copyright strikes on my account, I'll be continuing Spiderman. Minecraft's fate however is undecided.

The New Blog is up! + What's Happening

Hey everyone! Friendly Neighborhood OroCrimson here! Due to the wonderful resources provided to me by Google's Blogger, and the fact that it doesn't clash with Chrome like Webs' blogger does, the blog will be moved over here.

The rest of the site however will remain right where it's at.

Anywho, for my first blog post, I thought I'd post on everything going on so far, from Events to YouTube, and a little more.

First off, MUGEN.

Those who follow my YouTube channel, you might have been watching my new MUGEN series, NEON. I want to apologize for not getting a episodes the past couple days, but I do plan on working on more in the near future (tomorrow or the next day at the latest). I am also working on a MUGEN tutorial for megamonstercookies. For those who may be interested, I'll be going over what I know for Character Balancing, and as an added bonus, how to change the face portrait of a MUGEN character.
We'll have Lion-O as our prime example.

Second, events.

Ekazu's OCT, "Tears of Poseidon" is going rather well, and currently we're waiting for the completion of Round 2, Ike vs Viro. To add to this, an OCA (Original Character Adventure) is in the works, with the prototype name "War of Legends." Whether that'll be it's final and official name is not yet known. It'll feature many more characters, a different system than an Original Character Tournament, and may have some ties with some of the events in "Tears of Poseidon."

Finally, other crap.
My blogs will typically have this other crap section for things like rants and what's going on in my life, as well as things that don't directly apply to the Crimson Den or my YT channel.

First off, within 3 hours of seeing a Pokemon Picture Month pic on Facebook, I had built a superobsession with Eevee.

I mean, just look at it! D'aaaaw...
So... expect some of that. In fact you guys, I come bringing gifts.

Also, currently a FB page relating to Death Note (and DN humor), and most likely a page for an upcoming DN abridged, we bring you the darkestnotebook FB page.

With crudely made OC :D
Also, the Arlible page is a good place to check out too.

With that, I'm going to wrap up my first blog post. Hope you guys keep up to date!
